Transform the Lawn

Grey County, NeighbourWoods North and the community launched the first phase of the Transform the Lawn project in fall 2022.  The large lawn in front of the Grey County Headquarters Building on 9th Avenue in Owen Sound is undergoing a naturalization process to include trees, shrubs, and, possibly, a rain garden.  As part of Going Green in Grey, the County is naturalizing the lawn in front of the Administration building.  Special guests included Grey County Warden Selwyn J Hicks, NeighbourWoods North President Lloyd Lewis, and indigenous knowledge keeper Lori Kewaquom.
