6 PM Sharp Owen Sound Bring your own plates, cutlery and cup or mug, and bring a food dish to share, along with serving utensils.

7PM     Foraging for Edible and Medicinal Plants: Alexis Burnett of EarthTracks  will focus on learning how to ethically harvest plants for food and medicine from the wild.  We will talk about both native and non-native plants and explore what it means to work with these groups of plants in a way that helps to sustain and regenerate local populations.   As the popularity of foraging increases, it is more important than ever to learn what plants can be harvested  in a sustainable manner  and how we can help other plants to increase their populations in the name of caretaking and land stewardship.
